We are glad to introduce "UPI" payment mode on NJ E-Wealth Platform.
UPI Payment mode:
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is payment option by which client can transfer funds to NJ instantly from their mobile application.
Key features of UPI payment mode:
- UPI is available to all clients. Same can be selected from "Payment mode" drop down while initiating transaction.
- Instant funds are transferred using UPI hence it is beneficial in processing transaction on T-day like Net-banking & Auto debit payment mode.
- UPI payment mode is available on NJ E-Wealth website, mobile app and Partner initiated transaction from Partner Desk.
- Client bank need to be Live on UPI or BHIM platform.
UPI payment mode is currently offered for Non MARS MF transactions only. We would cover other products in due course of time.

Transaction flow of UPI payment authorization
- Client or Partner initiates the transaction from Partner Desk / E-Wealth website or mobile app.
- Client VPA to be entered on selection of "UPI" as payment mode. Confirm of transaction by client.
- After confirmation of transaction, client need to login to their bank mobile app or BHIM App where VPA is created. A collect notification will be received in UPI app in which the Client has to authorize the collection request sent by NJ.
- Client need to authorize the Collection request from mobile app within 5 minutes from the transaction confirmation.
Important points to be noted while making payments using UPI:
- Client need to have virtual payment address (VPA) for making payment using UPI.
- Client has to create VPA from their Bank mobile application or BHIM application.
- As per NPCI guidelines, transactions amounting upto Rs. 1 lakh can be made per day using Bank's UPI payment mode. Hence investment amount of upto Rs. 1 lakh per day can be currently initiated from NJ E-Wealth account using UPI.
- For UPI, single transaction amount may vary from bank to bank. Client need to check the same with their bank. For BHIM app, single transaction amounting upto Rs. 15,000/- can only be made. However cumulative value per day is upto Rs. 1 lakh.
- Fund has to be transferred from the Bank account number which is selected at the time of transaction. In case of payment is received from other bank account, the amount shall be refunded back to the same bank account number.
- It is mandatory to install UPI enabled bank app or BHIM app in mobile.
- Client need to authorize the Collection request from mobile app within 5 minutes from the transaction confirmation on NJ E-Wealth account platform. Post that collection request will be expired & fresh transaction will have to be initiated.
- It is to be noted that no payment should be made directly through UPI without submitting transaction on NJ E-Wealth account platform. All such amount shall be refunded back to the same bank account number.
